Today we went to the local pet shop and got some silk worms. Phoebe's school has a mulberry tree covered in juicy green leaves for the worms and ripening berries for ours tums too!I thought the girls would love watching the worms eat and eat and eat leaves until they are ready to spin their silky cocoons. Just like the very hungry caterpillar.
After we got the worms home the girls sat and watched them non-stop for over an hour, in which time they told them Milly-Molly-Mandy stories and even did little dances for them.
So day one was eventful, lets see what the next few weeks bring!
