Easter Sunday

Yesterday we had a great Easter Sunday. It started with the girls waking early, and me telling them a lovely little easter story that we have told for the last few years. Then we went downstairs to find that yet again a beautiful Easter Tree was waiting for us. I love the oohhs and aahhs of the girls everytime this tree appears, it never seems to lose its magic, and it really adds to the day in a special way.
As it was raining, the hunt had to be in the house! It was hard for the girls not to look while we waited for Lucas to come over and be part of the morning. They only had to wait an hour but as you can imagine it felt like 100 to them. So daddy arrived and the girls giggled their way around the rooms looking for eggs.
Our friends who are staying here woke and we had yummy crepes followed by bacon and eggs. We have had miserable weather over the past 10days constant rain, followed by hot sun then rain again. The boys decided to cook our 'second' breakfast on the BBQ, half way through the heavens opened and down came the rain, it was funny really!!! Lucas put up the outdoor umbrella and finished the job!!!
We then went to the festival, but that is another post in itself!
Hope you all had a great day too....
