We had a great time swimming out in the deep water. Phoebe and Coco are now both very happy to go out amongst the waves and jump over or go under as they please. Its only taken most of the summer mind you!!
After a while in the water we went and built sandcastles and nibbled on some munchies.
Phoebe wanted one last swim before we left.... As we were getting out I felt the familiar feeling of the tentacles of bluebottle wrapped around my leg, but that didn't register quick enough to scoop Miss Phoebe up, and with the next wave she too was being kissed by a blue bottle. Now this is I think the third time she has been stung by these little guys normally she takes it in her stride like Phoebe does when she is in pain, but today she lost it. Poor little thing, I knew it was hurting because my leg was in the same pain, it was not a small one either so she was suffering. We got home and the tears went away, she is now sound asleep and probably fully recovered, its never nice seeing your child in pain.. Little Diddy and her blue bottle kiss
